THE ERA B.K BACK ---- BUKY CORE's DEFINATION (BIOGRAPHY)

BUKY CORE is a duo made up of PHANTACY - (Henry Owusu-Boakye jr.) and LL MADAY (Robert Addo). The Next Unleashing Music Rocker “BUKY CORE” begun in 1998 during their senior high school days, they merged up to form a group where they extremely performed with a vision to hit Ghana and Africa at large after school. They kept their vision on course and recorded an 8 track album with Jay Q in 2003, but couldn’t release the album due to few inconveniences.

The Duet Rockers met Buk Bak in 2004, and that was where they dubbed BUKY CORE (core of buk bak). Buky released the 'LIGHT OVER DARKNESS' album in the year 2006 with Bright of Buk Bak fame, which had the smash hit 'CONDOM' song and 'MI TON NIEMA. It was a successful album after which Bright had to take leave for the United States Of America.

The Duo took a fallow period off music, where Phantacy had to further to the Wisconsin International University to pursue his 1st degree In Management & Computer Studies(BSC) Whiles Maday also set ahead to establish his Cloth Imports Business. Both came back into the lab with a recipe and perfect ingredients to cook up something delicious for their long awaiting fans, hence the RESHUFFLE ALBUM. It is made up of 11 good songs with perfect beats produced by Ghana’s best renowned records listed: - Killbeatz, Kaywa and Dr. Ray uniquely. There were guest appearances by their cousins from different aunties and uncles (Colleagues from other wings of Ghanaian Music) 4x4, konfi, ruff-n-smooth, screech and jah lead.

The Hit Track “pussy cat” which combines creativity and humor is a perfect meal to entertain all ages. The video shot by Take 2 Philms has a good concept with good picture quality not forgetting the excellent story line attached really meets international Grades. 'Make We Dance' is a party song; 'Stop Crying' is a motivational song for all just to urge us on what runs in our daily living. BUKY CORE has a song titled up “Don’t Try It” which elaborates and educates us on the illicit drug trafficking and its consequences. It’s also a whole project to be embarked on.
